On the drilling and routing machines of the ULTRASPEED range, the DUAL system uses two spindles on the same station to maximise productivity. For drilling and milling composite and non-ferrous materials, the spindle speed spectrum extends from 5,000 to 300,000 rpm, with axis accelerations of up to 4 g, drilling accuracy of ±15 µm and blind hole drilling accuracy below ±10 µm — performance made possible by an interchangeable pressure foot system (IPF) allowing a switch from drilling to milling on the same unit.
