Takisawa spindle repair
Brochexpress is an independent workshop specialising in the repair, maintenance and diagnostics of Takisawa spindles and sub-spindles — a century-old Japanese manufacturer of CNC lathes and machining centres, renowned for its high-productivity twin-spindle configurations.
Takisawa, more than 100 years of Japanese machine tool expertise
TLDR: Takisawa Machine Tool Co., Ltd (founded in 1922, Japan, ISO 9001 certified since 1997) is a century-old manufacturer of conventional lathes, CNC lathes and machining centres, with a range spanning single-spindle configurations through to high-productivity twin-spindle, twin-turret lathes.
Founded in 1922, Takisawa Machine Tool has built up nearly a century of experience in machine tool production, moving progressively from conventional lathes to CNC lathes and then machining centres. ISO 9001 certified since 1997, the company pursues a policy of "manufacturing reliable products" that has earned its reputation on the world market. The Takisawa range covers several lathe families depending on the application: the TT series for twin-spindle lathes with independently controllable parallel spindles, the TK series for stable heavy cutting of medium-sized or distorted workpieces, the TF series for shaft machining, the TCY series for compact combined turning-milling, and the TS series for combined turning with opposed spindles and a Y-axis.
A range of high-productivity twin-spindle machines
TLDR: Takisawa twin-spindle, twin-turret lathes (TM series) enable the simultaneous machining of two workpieces or a double operation on a single workpiece, with independently controllable spindles and rotation speeds typically between 5,000 and 8,000 rpm depending on the configuration.
Takisawa twin-spindle, twin-turret lathes, such as the TM series (TM-4000Y2 model), feature two spindles, two turrets and two Y-axes mounted on a 45° slant bed, making it possible to perform simultaneous turning operations on a single workpiece or to machine two workpieces in parallel using identical or different programs. On the TT series, the two front-facing, parallel-mounted spindles can be controlled independently during machining, with the option of integrating an original Takisawa gantry loader for full process automation (simultaneous front/rear machining, symmetrical machining). These spindles typically deliver 7.5 kW per spindle on compact twin-spindle configurations, with rotation speeds in the region of 5,000 to 8,000 rpm.

Interfaces and specifications
The Takisawa spindles we repair cover rotation speeds typically between 5,000 and 8,000 rpm depending on the model and configuration (single-spindle or twin-spindle), with power ratings of around 7.5 kW per spindle on compact configurations — specifications to be confirmed on quotation according to the exact reference of your machine.
