The spindles for SwissDECO 36 solutions, handling bars of 36 mm, are according to the manufacturer the most powerful spindles ever fitted to an automatic lathe: liquid-cooled, they run up to 8,000 rpm with 53 Nm of torque and 25,000 N of clamping force. On both ranges, ceramic bearings guarantee thermal stability, precision and durability, even under heavy load; to further reinforce machining accuracy, the spindle can be fitted with a high-precision hydraulic braking system, particularly useful on machines equipped with a B or A axis.
